Job description:
- 6+ years’ experience in an Android development role (Android 2+).
- Strong Java 8+ and Android SDK knowledge.
- Experience with Android emulators.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
- Flexible and self driven with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit etc.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.
- Comfortable writing robust unit tests, including edge cases, usability and reliability.
- Experience working in high performance Agile Scrum teams.
- Experience with Android Bound Services and Android Open Source
- Experience with distributed computing.
- Skills with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience working with international and remote teams.
- Experience with building accessible software – ADA, WCAG standards – testing tools: JAWS, screen readers.
